SAIL: November output up 8 pct
Stell production from plants of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) marked a
growth of 8 per cent during November 2012 as compared to corresponding period last
year (CPLY) with saleable steel production at 9.72 lakh tonnes.

SIMEC Group from Apizaco, Mexico, has placed an order with SMS Concast, Switzerland,
and SMS Meer, Germany, for a minimill.

Mechaniche SpA, Italy signed a contract for implemetation of a 4.0 million tonnes
per year (mtpy) semi continuous hot strip mill in Shanghai Meishan plant.
